Will Preparation
Consider carefully the relative costs financially and otherwise of a self-help booklet or computer program with the secure knowledge that a current and formally executed Will, prepared in compliance with the WILLS AND SUCCESSION ACT of Alberta is in your safety deposit box.
Without it you risk losing control of your estate at the time of your death. This can lead not only to hardship and injustice but to litigation for family and friends and extensive costs.
I will also advise and assist regarding Enduring Powers of Attorney and Healthcare Directives.
I have also extensive experience in estate and probate work in the Surrogate Court of Alberta and help families with Administrations, Probates and re-sealing foreign Grants. Legal costs for this work vary greatly depending mostly upon the complexity of estate assets and number of beneficiaries. I do not charge fees strictly based upon the Surrogate Court tariff.
